Job summary

Benang Energy Infrastructure Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Power Division to lead the delivery of critical utility infrastructure across the Perth metropolitan area.

You will manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and handover, with strong leadership and commercial acumen to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Experience delivering major power, utilities, HV/LV transmission, distribution projects.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies and construction practices.
• Demonstrated commercial capability including budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, risk management and claims management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of utility and power infrastructure projects across Perth.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and resources to achieve outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet safety, environmental, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Prepare and present project reports, forecasts and progress updates to senior management and clients.
• Lead and mentor project teams to foster collaboration and high performance.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency.
