Job summary

Benang Energy Infrastructure Pty Ltd in Western Australia is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to drive power division projects from planning through completion. You will manage engineering and technical aspects across utilities, coordinating with clients and stakeholders to meet objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor in electrical/power engineering, strong coordination, problem-solving, and proficiency with MS Office and PM software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, or related discipline.
Experience delivering projects in power/utilities/electrical infrastructure or renewables.
Strong ability to interpret drawings, specs and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

Manage engineering and technical aspects of power/utility projects from planning to completion.
Support project managers to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Coordinate design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover activities.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and procedures.
Prepare project reports, progress updates, cost forecasts and technical submissions.
Assist with contract administration, variations, and project scheduling.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure works meet health and safety requirements.
