Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Electrical to lead the delivery of a major renewable energy infrastructure project. The role starts with approximately 6 months in Perth within the Major Projects Study Team to develop scope, execution strategy and delivery plans, then transitions to site for approximately 12 months of execution.

A 2/2 FIFO roster may be required during construction. You will own project delivery across safety, schedule, budget and stakeholder management,

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience delivering major infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Experience across the full lifecycle from study through execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and execution from study through construction and commissioning.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules and commercial performance.
• Oversee procurement activities, contractor management and contract administration.
• Coordinate civil, structural and electrical construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Build strong relationships with clients, engineering teams, utilities, regulators and stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and drive schedule performance.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and major equipment deliveries.
• Oversee reporting, change management, RFIs and project documentation.
• Support commissioning, grid connection and handover.

If you're an experienced Project Manager looking to lead the delivery of a major renewable energy project from study through execution, we'd love to hear from you.

PERSOL is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Electrical to lead the delivery of a major renewable energy infrastructure project. The role will commence with approximately 6 months in Perth, working within the Major Projects Study Team to develop project scope, execution strategy and delivery plans before transitioning to site for the execution phase (approximately 12 months). During construction, candidates must be flexible to work a 2/2 FIFO roster if required. This is an opportunity to manage a project from concept and study through to construction, commissioning and handover. The Opportunity As Project Manager, you will take ownership of project delivery across safety, commercial performance, schedule, quality and stakeholder management, working closely with engineering, construction and client teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and execution from study phase through construction and commissioning
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules and commercial performance
• Oversee procurement activities, contractor management and contract administration

About You

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• 7+ years' experience managing major infrastructure, power or renewable energy projects
• Proven experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle from study through execution
• Strong knowledge of EPC contract delivery, procurement and commercial management
• Experience using MS Project, Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong financial management, budgeting and forecasting capability
• Flexibility to transition to a FIFO roster during the construction phase
• Highly Regarded Experience delivering Solar PV, BESS, transmission or other renewable energy projects
• PMP or equivalent Project Management qualification
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management systems
