Job summary

AGL Energy in Docklands, VIC, is seeking a Reporting & Solutions Analyst to join the Asset Services division. You will translate business requirements into meaningful reporting outcomes, develop trusted data assets, and drive automation and innovation in analytics.

You will design and maintain Power BI reports, semantic models, and data pipelines using SQL, DAX, and modern cloud platforms, with a focus on reliability and stakeholder value.

Qualifications

Strong experience in Power BI report development, deployment, and lifecycle management.
Proficient in SQL, DAX, and Power Query for data transformation and reporting solution development.
Knowledge of data modelling principles including star schema and semantic layers.
Experience with modern cloud analytics platforms and data warehouses.
Background in energy, utilities, or power generation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into reporting outcomes and data assets.
Develop and maintain semantic models, datasets, and KPI frameworks.
Deliver and manage scheduled internal and external reporting requirements.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies in reporting.
Ensure high-quality, reliable analytics for stakeholders.
