Job summary

AGL Energy is seeking a Reporting & Solutions Analyst within its Asset Services division in Docklands, Melbourne. You will translate business requirements into robust reporting assets, build semantic models, and deliver insightful analytics using Power BI, SQL, and DAX.

You will shape data assets, pursue automation opportunities with AI and cloud analytics, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive decision-ready insights across energy assets and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Strong Power BI report development and lifecycle management.
SQL, DAX, and Power Query for data transformation and reporting development.
Experience with dimensional modelling, star schema, and semantic layers.
Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, data warehouse and cloud analytics.

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into reporting outcomes and deliver actionable insights.
Develop trusted data assets and semantic models to support dashboards.
Identify opportunities to automate and leverage AI and emerging technologies.
Design, deliver, and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, DAX and SQL.
Manage scheduled delivery of internal and external reporting requirements.
Ensure data quality and reliability for stakeholders.
