Job summary

NSW Health’s Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick seeks a Clinical Support Officer to deliver timely administrative support to the postnatal care team. Under the Midwifery Unit Manager, you will ensure accurate processing of transactions and data, while contributing to a high-quality patient experience.

The role is 38 hours per week, temporary until February 2027, with a salary of $73,915.12 – $76,218.80 per annum plus superannuation and salary packaging options.

Qualifications

• Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
• Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate administrative/transactional services for members of the health care team within the postnatal service.
• Work under broad supervision but may take some independent action.
• Support the Midwifery Unit Manager – Postnatal Services in daily operations.
