Job summary

NSW Health is recruiting Registered Midwives for Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. Permanent Full Time and Part Time roles (minimum 24 hours per week) offer remuneration of $41.22 - $57.88 per hour plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

We provide ongoing education, mentorship, and structured development with opportunities to upskill in venepuncture, cannulation, perineal suturing, postnatal education, and newborn assessment within a supportive, learning-focused team.

Qualifications

• Current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster working 12 hour shifts
• Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
