Job summary

Coalfields Climate Control, a Hunter Valley based air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical contracting business, seeks an Air Conditioning Coordinator in Greta, NSW. You’ll be the heartbeat of the operation, linking customers, admin and field techs to keep jobs on time and within budget.

THE NOT-SO-GLAMOROUS BIT

This is a busy seat. You'll be the person everyone comes to when a job's running late, a customer's chasing an update, or a tech needs a decision made yesterday. If you like a quiet, predictable day where nothing changes, this isn't it. If you get a kick out of chaos becoming order — keep reading.

THE GOOD STUFF

You'll be the heart of the business. Not an exaggeration — you're the link between our customers, our admin team and our field techs, and pretty much nothing moves without you (this is where the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration skills are ESSENTIAL. Pipeline, scheduling, job flow, invoicing — it's all yours to own.

You'll actually get to run things. Reporting straight to our General Manager, you're not stuck rubber-stamping someone else's decisions. You'll schedule the work, hold the team accountable, and make the calls that keep jobs on time and on budget.

Real variety, real impact. One minute you're juggling the diary to squeeze in an urgent job, the next you're coaching an apprentice, the next you're making sure last week's install actually got invoiced. No two days look the same.

You've worked in the air conditioning, refrigeration or electrical trade world before — this is essential, not a nice-to-have. You know how jobs flow and what "urgent" actually means in this industry.

You've done scheduling, coordination or dispatch before, so you're not learning the fundamentals from scratch — you're hitting the ground running.

You can hold a field team accountable without losing your cool (or theirs). Confidence and calm under pressure go a long way here.

You're a top-notch communicator with a genuine customer-first mindset — because our customers deserve to feel looked after, every time.

You sweat the details. Scheduling errors and missed invoices cost us money and trust — we need someone who catches things before they become a problem.

You're comfortable in job management and scheduling software (we run on Ascora) — or you're quick enough to pick it up properly.

You've got a proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine sense of ownership. If something's not working, you don't wait to be told to fix it.
