Job summary

MSS East Coast Air Pty Ltd in Newcastle, Central Coast and Hunter Valley areas is seeking an experienced air conditioning technician. The role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of domestic and commercial systems, delivering reliable service, and maintaining high safety standards.

Applicants with at least 3 years of service experience, Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, ARCTICK license, and WWCC are invited to apply; you will join a team that values punctuality,

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair various air conditioning systems within domestic and commercial environments.
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality and reliability on site.
• Commitment to safety, including WHS practices and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose fault codes and perform repairs on HVAC equipment.
• Install, service and maintain air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients.
• Be part of an on-call roster and provide timely, high-quality service.

We aren't going to advertise a dollar rate and get smashed with first year tradesman applying for the job role. Due to an increase in clientele we are wanting an experienced technician who is well rounded and can do the job.

Minimum 3 years of air conditioning service experience is required for this position.

A bit about ECA

Over 20 years in the game has allowed us as company to grow with the industry, using the latest and greatest HVAC+R units and equipment on the market and we've recently joined with MSS Group to further grow our business.

Our work includes all aspects of domestic/residential air conditioning.

Our Commercial clients have equipment consisting of chillers and VRVs, along with some specialised units used in the production of pharmaceutical goods, hospitals and hospital theatres.

The team we currently have on board are experienced, diverse, knowledgeable and always happy to help the new guy or gal out.

We are chasing more like-minded professional tradesperson who can slot into our Service Department and become a part of something different.

We need enthusiasm, punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to uphold ECA's reputation.

We need someone who can handle a bit pressure when on the job because they know the job satisfaction is worth it when we get a win.

To be successful in this position we require the following:

• Ability to pass police check & working with children check (WWCC)
• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is required
• Arctick licence must be held at the time of application
• Car licence (Class C) is required for this role
• OH & S white card must be held at the time of application
• Professional manner and neat appearance
• Able to participate in an after-hours on call roster
• Australian citizenship is required for this position
