The role focuses on delivering high-quality civil works, coordinating daily site activities and maintaining safe, efficient operations.

You will need a current driver’s licence, relevant plant operator tickets, and the ability to read construction plans.

NBC CIVIL CONSTRUCTIONS PTY LTDare a family run business based in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, predominately working in the Commercial, Government, Industrial and Land Development Sectors.

We are seeking a Full Time Posi-Track / Excavator Operator with minimum of five (5) years' experience operating machines up to 20T to join the company and assist the team.

To be considered for this role it is important that you have the following:

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, leading by example, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience operating posi-tracks and excavators in the civil construction industry and be confident coordinating daily site activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Extensive experience operating posi-tracks and excavators (min 5 years’ experience) in an advanced manner
• Strong understanding of earthworks, final trim, grading, drainage, and general civil construction.
• Ability to read construction plans
• Current driver's licence.
• Relevant plant operator competencies and tickets.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Conduct pre-starts and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
• Monitor quality of work and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively.
