Job summary

UCBC is seeking experienced Plant Operators to join our Civil Construction team on projects across Sydney. You will operate Positrack and Excavators, focusing on precise level work, material spreading, and stockpile management while maintaining strict safety standards and productive collaboration with ground workers and supervisors.

Ideal candidates hold tickets for one or both relevant plant, have a minimum of 2 years’ experience on civil sites, and a proven record of reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ticketed for plant (one or both).
• Minimum 2 years on civil construction sites.
• Strong understanding of safe work practices.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Positrack to spread materials and level surfaces.
• Operate excavators 5T–35T including stockpile management.
• Maintain safety practices on civil sites.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors on site tasks.

Key responsibilities

Positrack

• Experience in operating positracks spreading select materials
• Ability to work accurately to levels

Excavator

• Experienced operating excavators 5T to 35T
• Experience with stockpile management
• General excavation

About you

• Competent and ticketed for 1 or both of the relevant plant
• Minimum 2 years' operating on civil construction sites
• Strong understanding of safe work practices
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
