Romba Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our civil and landscape construction crews across Greater Sydney. You will operate excavators, skid steers and other plant on varied open space projects, delivering quality earthworks and site works.

We value safety, reliability and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team. A current license and white card are required, with opportunities for ongoing work and skill development on diverse projects.

About the role

You'll be an important part of our construction crews, operating machinery across a variety of civil and landscape projects. No two projects are the same - and that's exactly what makes the role interesting.

Key responsibilities

• Operating excavators, skid steers and other plant
• Bulk and detailed earthworks
• Trenching, drainage and civil construction
• Fine grading and trimming
• Working alongside our civil and landscape crews
• Assisting with general site works when required
• Maintaining a high standard of safety, quality and productivity

About you

• Experienced and confident operating machinery
• Safety-focused and takes pride in their work
• Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Experienced in civil construction, landscaping and or earthworks
• Keen to work on quality projects rather than doing the same job every day
• License and white card required
