Job summary

Optus is seeking an Associate Director, Portfolio Management to lead governance, program delivery, and risk management within the Networks domain. You will embed enterprise frameworks and drive excellence across multiple delivery teams in a Tier 1 telecommunications environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Telecommunications with portfolio and project delivery expertise.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex technical environments.
• Experience embedding enterprise governance frameworks and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio governance, project execution, and delivery disciplines across the domain.
• Establish governance forums, steering committees, and reporting cycles.
• Coach delivery teams to improve portfolio execution maturity.
• Oversee operating planning, prioritisation, and investment categorisation.
• Embed risk management practices and enterprise risk alignment.
