Job summary

Judo Bank Pty in Melbourne is seeking a Manager, Portfolio Credit Risk to strengthen our credit risk framework and support growth of the SME loan book.

Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Credit Risk, you’ll lead ECL assessments, governance of IFRS 9/AASB 9, and portfolio analytics, delivering insights to executives and risk committees. A collaborative, data-driven leader is required to drive change and improve reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in portfolio credit risk and provisioning.
• Knowledge of IFRS 9 / AASB 9 frameworks.
• Experience analysing portfolio performance and stress testing outcomes.
• Advanced analytics with SQL, Python/R, Power BI, Snowflake.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and driving change.

Responsibilities

• Lead enhancement of IFRS 9/AASB 9 ECL methodology.
• Oversee portfolio risk analytics, provision assessments, and stress testing.
• Assess provision adequacy and emerging portfolio risks.
• Drive improvement of risk models, reporting, and governance.
• Partner with Finance, IR and Risk for internal and external reporting.
• Present analysis to senior management and risk committees.
• Identify opportunities to automate risk reporting and analytics.
• Develop portfolio risk capabilities across Credit Risk.
• Foster a collaborative, learning-focused team environment.
• Role model Judo's values and culture.
