Judo Bank Pty in Sydney is seeking an experienced Credit Risk professional to deliver thoughtful credit assessments and rigorous decisioning for our SME lending portfolio. You’ll work with Directors, Analysts and frontline teams, coaching credit capability while contributing to policy, processes and funding solutions in a fast-growing, hybrid workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in credit decisioning of business lending transactions in Regional Commercial
• Collaborative mindset, working in a team-first environment where risk and relationships align
• Experience in a relationship role (Analyst, Relationship Manager/Director)
• Ability to structure finance needs pragmatically without rigid policy constraints
• Strong business acumen and clear credit writing skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct thoughtful and rigorous credit assessment and decision making to support Judo’s business lending activities.
• Coach and uplift Director Relationships and Analysts, strengthening credit risk capability across the team.
• Stay curious about the broader economic landscape and understand how market shifts impact Australian businesses.
• Play an active role in enhancing policy, processes and systems to improve Judo’s proposition.
