Judo Bank is seeking a Manager, Portfolio Credit Risk to strengthen our IFRS 9 / AASB 9 framework and provisioning processes. You will lead risk analytics, assess provisions and drive improvements across risk reporting, models and governance.

Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Credit Risk, you will collaborate with Finance, Investor Relations and Risk teams to deliver insights that inform senior decisions and support the bank’s growth of its SME portfolio.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience within portfolio credit risk, analytics, provisioning or impairment modelling.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 9 / AASB 9 provisioning frameworks and credit provisioning methodologies.
• Experience analysing portfolio performance, impairment trends, credit risk drivers and stress testing outcomes.
• Advanced analytical capability with SQL, Python, R, Power BI or Snowflake.
• The ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management, with confidence to engage and challenge at senior levels.
• Continuous improvement mindset and a track record of driving process change.
• Collaborative, curious and focused on supporting Australian SMEs.

Responsabilités

• Lead ongoing enhancement and governance of IFRS 9 / AASB 9 ECL provisioning framework.
• Oversee portfolio credit risk analytics, provision assessments and stress tests.
• Assess provision adequacy and emerging portfolio risks with constructive challenge.
• Drive improvements in risk models, reporting and governance frameworks.
• Partner with Finance, Investor Relations and Risk for reporting obligations.
• Present analysis and recommendations to senior management and risk committees.
• Identify opportunities to automate risk reporting and analytics.
• Support development of portfolio risk capabilities across Risk function.
• Foster a collaborative, learning-focused team culture and values alignment.
