Job summary

Judo Bank is seeking a Manager, Portfolio Credit Risk to strengthen our credit risk framework and support the growth of our SME-focused portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Credit Risk, you will lead analytics, ECL assessment activities and provisioning, ensuring methodologies are robust and fit-for-purpose while partnering across Risk, Finance and senior stakeholders. This is a hands-on role with significant influence over risk governance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience within portfolio credit risk, credit analytics, provisioning, impairment modelling or broader risk management disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 9 / AASB 9 frameworks and credit provisioning methodologies.
• Experience analysing portfolio performance, impairment trends, credit risk drivers and stress testing outcomes.
• Advanced analytical capability with SQL, Python, R, Power BI and/or Snowflake.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing enhancement and governance of IFRS 9/AASB 9 ECL methodology and provisioning framework.
• Oversee portfolio credit risk analytics, provision assessments and stress testing activities.
• Assess provision adequacy and emerging portfolio risks with constructive challenge.
• Drive continuous improvement of credit risk models, methodologies and reporting.
• Partner with Finance, Investor Relations and Risk for internal and regulatory reporting.
• Present analysis and recommendations to senior management and risk committees.
