Job summary

Property Network of Australia is seeking a Retail Asset Manager to lead its portfolio team across retail and commercial assets. The role focuses on strategic oversight and hands‑on execution to drive asset performance and investor outcomes.

Based in or around Sydney/Brisbane with a visible leadership presence across assets, you will manage financial performance, leasing activity, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring risk controls are in place.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in retail shopping centre or asset management.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting/forecasting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of retail lease structures and regulations.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Executive Director and develop asset management strategies for the retail portfolio.
• Prepare business plans, forecasts and asset valuations.
• Drive positive leasing outcomes across the portfolio.
• Maximise income growth and improve operational performance.
• Lead and mentor the Portfolio Management team including Centre Manager and Operations Manager.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and service provider performance.
• Ensure compliance with lease, legal and risk management requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Executive Director, develop and execute asset management strategies for retail portfolio
• Prepare business plans, forecasts, and asset valuations as required
• Manage and drive positive leasing outcomes across the portfolio
• Maximise income growth and operational performance
• Lead and mentor the Portfolio Management team comprising Centre Manager, Operations Manager, Marketing Manager and 2 x Accounts/Admin
• Manage stakeholder relationships and service provider performance
• Ensure compliance with lease, legal, and risk management requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
