Job summary

Raine & Horne Commercial Retail Services is seeking an organised, proactive Retail Manager to support the day-to-day operational, financial and administrative management of retail assets in Maitland, NSW. Responsibilities

• Support annual property budgets, financial reporting, outgoings reconciliations and rent reviews.
• Assist with arrears management and processing supplier invoices.
• Maintain tenancy schedules, lease documentation and critical date registers.
• Support lease administration, renewals, options and tenant compliance.
• Build positive relationships with tenants and respond to day-to-day enquiries.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, contractors and service providers.
• Conduct regular inspections of tenancies, common areas and centre facilities.
• Monitor contractor licences, insurances, inductions and WHS compliance.
• Maintain statutory, risk and compliance registers.
• Assist with incident reporting and statutory compliance requirements.
• Prepare reports, correspondence and tenant communications.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Centre Manager.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded Retail Manager to join our Retail Services team. Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will support the day-to-day operational, financial and administrative management of retail assets, helping to deliver a high standard of centre presentation, tenant service, compliance and asset performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• A Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration
• Experience within property, retail asset management or a related environment
• Strong financial and administrative skills
• An understanding of property and regulatory compliance requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to read and interpret leases, contracts and other property documentation
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence working with tenants, clients, contractors and other stakeholders
• A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a team
• A current driver's licence

Knowledge of relevant NSW property and retail leasing legislation would be highly regarded, as would an understanding of building services including HVAC, fire systems and BMS.
