RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast is seeking a friendly Porter/Concierge to join our Front Office team. You will welcome guests with genuine hospitality, assist with check-in/out, and help coordinate bookings while delivering exceptional 5-star service.

Qualifications

• Hotel porter/concierge experience is preferred.
• Hold a valid RSA certificate and a QLD driver licence.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting.
• Excellent grooming and personal presentation required.
• Proficient in MS Office and Opera PMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and assist with check-in and check-out.
• Monitor traffic flow at resort entrance and assist large groups.
• Arrange bookings, transport, restaurant reservations and deliveries.
• Transport and store guest luggage and belongings safely.
• Provide information on facilities and local attractions to guests.
• Drive golf carts and assist guests throughout their stay.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Porter/Concierge to join our Front Office team. As the face of the resort, you’ll welcome guests with genuine hospitality and provide outstanding service that helps create unforgettable stays.

In this busy and varied role, you will be on your feet and actively utilising your exceptional customer service skills, providing a high standard 5 star service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is a memorable & an enjoyable experience. You will be motivated and hardworking with the “can do attitude” which will see you thrive in the role. Your key responsibilities in this role include:

Welcome and greet guests entering/leaving the resort

Assist guests and large groups at check in/out

• Monitor and manage traffic flow on resort entrance driveway

Arrange bookings, transport, restaurant reservations &deliver items to guest rooms

Transport and store guest luggage and belongings, lifting heavy items

• Provide guests with information on the resort facilities, restaurants, services and local Gold Coast events, restaurants and tourism attractions

Drive golf carts on property

What you'll need to be successful

Full availability and flexibility to work a weekly rotating roster between 7am-11pm including evenings, weekends & public holidays, eg. 6.30am-2.30pm, 2.30pm-10.30pm

Hotel porter/concierge experience, in 4-5 star hotel/resort or similar environment

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting (eg. luggage) and working on your feet
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications + PMS Opera, desirable

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach to guest interactions both face-to-face and over the phone

Attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Positive, self-motivated team player who is confident, friendly, enthusiastic, and thrives in a collaborative hospitality environment

Sound knowledge of the Gold Coast region, combined with problem-solving skills and the ability to confidently handle guest enquiries

• Hold a valid RSA certificate & Qld Drivers Licence, essential
• Excellent grooming & personal presentation
