Hinterland Pools Pty Ltd is a locally owned pool shop based in Alstonville Plaza, offering regular servicing, maintenance, and repairs to pools around Alstonville and the Northern Rivers. We are hiring a reliable Pool Technician for a casual role focused on regular servicing, equipment installations, with opportunities to participate in pool construction.

The successful candidate will have a current Australian driver’s licence, practical/mechanical ability, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous pool industry experience is preferred; however, training can be provided to the right applicant.
• The successful applicant should have:
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Good practical and mechanical ability.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Reasonable physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled pool and spa servicing and cleaning.
• Test and balance water chemistry and safely handle pool chemicals.
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot pumps, filters, chlorinators and other equipment.
• Complete basic equipment repairs and installations where required.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate professionally with customers.
• Maintain the service vehicle, tools, equipment and stock.
• Assist with pool construction projects as required.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

About the Role

Hinterland Pools is a locally owned Pool Shop based in Alstonville Plaza, providing regular pool servicing, maintenance and repairs to swimming pools around Alstonville and surrounding areas throughout the Northern Rivers.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Pool Technician to join our team. The role is primarily focused on regular pool servicing, equipment installations, with the opportunity to also become involved in pool construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled pool and spa servicing and cleaning.


• Test and balance water chemistry and safely handle pool chemicals.


• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot pumps, filters, chlorinators and other equipment.


• Complete basic equipment repairs and installations where required.


• Maintain accurate service records and communicate professionally with customers.


• Maintain the service vehicle, tools, equipment and stock.


• Assist with pool construction projects as required.
