Job summary

The Pool Professionals are expanding and seeking a motivated Pool Technician to join our Byron Bay and Ballina teams. Multiple positions available; training provided. You will receive a company vehicle and above award wages.

You must be physically fit and able to lift at least 20 kg. Key requirements include the ability to work autonomously or in a team, strong written and spoken English, and a professional approach when dealing with customers.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Experience in onsite pool service/maintenance preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team.
• Outdoors-friendly and able to engage with customers.

Responsibilities

• General pool maintenance including cleaning, testing and balancing residential pools.
• Routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of pool equipment.
• Sales and installation of new equipment.
• Scheduling and inventory management.

Job description

The Pool Professionals are looking for a motivated Pool Technician to join our expanding team in Byron Bay and Ballina. We have multiple positions available across this region. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. You will be provided company vehicle & paid above award wages. You must be physically fit & able to lift a minimum of 20kg.

To be successful you must:

• Be able to work autonomously without supervision as well as being able to work in a team environment
• Have excellent communication skills including strong written and spoken English
• Be well presented, polite and professional in dealings with customers
• Take pride in your work
• Be reliable, punctual, organised and able to work effieciently.

Key responsibilities include:

• General pool maintenance including cleaning, testing and balancing residential and resort swimming pools
• Routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of swimming pool equipment including pumps, filters, chlorinators and pool cleaners
• Sales and installation of new equipment
• Scheduling and inventory management

Candidates should have:

• A current driver's license with a good driving record
• Experience in onsite swimming pool service/maintenance preferred
• Great customer service skills and an ability to work in a team
• Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and ability to work unsupervised
• Enjoy the outdoors and engaging with customers
