JK Pools & Construction is seeking a Pool Construction Maintenance All Rounder to join our Townsville team. This full-time role covers multiple facets of pool construction and ongoing maintenance, from fibreglass builds to equipment servicing and repairs.

You will assist with excavation, site preparation, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety standards on site. A valid license and teamwork are essential to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in pool construction or maintenance.
• Competency with a range of hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Townsville.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in pool maintenance advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Assist in fibreglass pool build and installation.
• Inspect, repair or replace pumps, filters, motors and chlorinators.
• Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, water testing and chemical balancing.
• Carry out repairs and remedial work on existing pools.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely.
• Assist with landscaping around pool areas.

Pool Construction Maintainance All Rounder

JK Pools & Construction is seeking a Pool Construction Maintenance All Rounder to join our dynamic team in Townsville, QLD 4810. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work across multiple facets of pool construction and maintenance. As an All Rounder, you will be responsible for supporting various stages of pool projects, from initial construction through to ongoing maintenance and repairs. This role is essential to ensuring that our clients receive high-quality workmanship and reliable service, making it a key position within our operations team.

What you'll be doing

Help with all aspects of fibreglass pool build and installation

Assist in pool construction projects, including excavation, maintenance: Inspecting, repairing, or replacing pumps, filters, motors, chlorinators and general site preparation

Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment servicing, including skimming surface debris, vacuuming the floor, and brushing walls and tiles.

Carry out repairs and remedial work on existing pools, including equipment replacement

Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and specialised pool maintenance equipment safely and effectively

Assist with landscaping and finishing work around pool areas

Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs completed, and materials used

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all job sites

Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and to specification

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in pool construction, maintenance, or related trades within the labourers industry

Competency with a range of hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction and maintenance work

Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexibly to meet project demands

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites within the Townsville area

Relevant qualifications or certifications in pool maintenance, construction safety, or related fields are advantages
