Mullumbimby Pools is seeking a full-time Pool Building Labourer and Pool Plumber to join our experienced team in Mullumbimby, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the dynamic trades and services sector, where you will contribute to the construction and installation of high-quality swimming pools for residential and commercial clients. As a Pool Building Labourer and Pool Plumber, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional projects from conception to completion. This position is based in Mullumbimby NSW 2482 and is a permanent, full-time role.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the excavation, site preparation, and groundwork for pool construction projects

Installing and connecting pool plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, pumps, and filtration equipment

Testing plumbing systems to ensure they meet safety standards and function correctly

Laying concrete and fibreglass for pool structures and surrounds

Installing pool equipment such as filters, heaters, and chlorination systems

Maintaining tools, equipment, and work sites to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness

Collaborating with other tradespeople and site managers to meet project deadlines

Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and company protocols on site

Performing general labouring duties as required to support project completion

What we're looking for

Trade qualification or apprenticeship in plumbing, pool building, or a related field

Proven experience working as a pool plumber or pool building labourer in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of pool plumbing systems, water circulation, and filtration equipment

Competency in reading technical drawings and blueprints

Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions

Sound understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and best practices

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

A commitment to delivering quality workmanship and maintaining professional standards

Preferred: Experience with modern pool technology and smart pool systems

Preferred: Knowledge of local council requirements and building approvals for pool construction
