Job summary

Maranoa Regional Council is seeking multiple Pool Attendants to join our team at the new Aquatic Centre in Roma. These casual, on-site positions support supervision, patron engagement, and everyday operations to ensure a welcoming environment for families and visitors.

Applicants should hold a C Class Driver Licence and have experience in customer service. A covering letter and responses to application questions are required in the application.

• Current C Class Driver Licence is required.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail is desirable.

Purpose:

A Pool Attendant is a non‑lifeguard operationalsupport role focused on supervision assistance, patron engagement, cleanliness,basic safety support, and customer service — without performing any duties thatrequire a qualified Pool Lifeguard. Below is a full position description youcan use immediately for recruitment, onboarding, or Council documentation.

Staff in this role contribute directly to the smoothoperation of the Centre and play an important part in creating a positiveenvironment for families, swimmers, and visitors.
