a23 is an Australian owned Systems Integrator headquartered in Canberra. We deliver ICT services across government and enterprise clients, and this hybrid, Canberra-based role places you at the heart of end-to-end project delivery.

As an experienced professional services Project Manager, you will lead delivery teams, manage client relationships, control commercial outcomes, and drive successful completion of multiple fixed-price engagements across government and industry sectors.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• 5+ years project delivery experience managing fixed-price professional services projects.
• Experience delivering ICT professional services, systems integration or managed services.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across clients and teams.
• PM qualifications such as PMP/PRINCE2 would be highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Lead multiple fixed-price professional services projects through the complete delivery lifecycle.
• Plan and manage project scope, schedules, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, quality and contractual deliverables.
• Coordinate technical teams, Practice Leads, vendors and client stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes.
• Apply a23 project governance and delivery controls proportionate to the complexity, commercial exposure and risk of each engagement.
• Manage deliverable acceptance, operational handover and project closure.
• Own project commercial performance, including budgets, revenue, costs, margin, and contingency.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and provide early visibility of scope variance, delivery pressures and emerging commercial impacts.
• Manage scope and commercial changes through appropriate change control, ensuring commitments are internally aligned and escalated where required.
• Build trusted client relationships through reliable delivery, transparent communication and well managed expectations.
• Own the day-to-day client relationship for assigned projects and lead project governance, reporting and stakeholder communications, providing clear visibility of status, risks, issues, and changes.
• Contribute lessons and delivery insights to improve a23 estimation, contracting and project delivery practices.
