Job summary

System C in Australia is seeking an experienced Project Support Officer to join the Professional Services team, supporting customer programmes across Australia and New Zealand.

You will be at the heart of our PMO, coordinating governance, reporting and project controls to give delivery teams clear information to drive decisions. The role requires strong planning, budgeting awareness and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least three years' experience in a Project Support Officer or PMO Analyst role.
• Experience governance for medium to large organisations.
• Strong planning, coordination and reporting skills.
• Understanding of project financial management.
• Comfortable working with stakeholders across teams and levels.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• PRINCE2 or Agile qualifications desirable.
• Experience with Power BI, Jira, Microsoft Project or PSA platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance activities, meetings, actions and decisions.
• Produce accurate project and portfolio reports, KPIs, dashboards and management information.
• Maintain project plans, documentation and RAID logs.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, milestones and purchase orders; escalate variances.
• Support portfolio resource planning, mobilisation and onboarding.
• Coordinate customer feedback and satisfaction surveys.
• Manage project closure activities and governance requirements.
• Support benefits tracking and reporting.
• Facilitate lessons learned and trend analysis for improvements.
• Conduct audits against agreed standards and maintain PMO templates.
