Job summary

Deckard is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Engineering Operations team in Sydney. You will work across the full platform stack—cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, developer experience, observability, and security compliance—and report to the Director of Engineering Operations, collaborating with engineering teams on Rentalscape and Cyborg.

Strong candidates will have hands-on experience with platform reliability, scalable architectures, and CI/CD practices within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience across the full platform stack, including cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with developer experience tooling and observability practices.
• Understanding of security compliance requirements for platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering Operations and report to the Director of Engineering Operations.
• Work with product teams across Deckard's Rentalscape and Cyborg projects.
• Contribute to platform reliability, scalability and deployment efficiency.
