Job summary

LGT is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Platform Team for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Sydney, Australia. You will design, build, and maintain common digital capabilities used across multiple teams.

The role requires end-to-end capability with Angular/React frontends and Java-based backend development, in a containerised, API-driven, CI/CD-enabled enterprise environment. You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and platform observability to ensure scalable

• End-to-end capability across modern Angular/React frontends and Java-based backend.
• Experience in a containerised, API-driven, CI/CD-enabled enterprise environment.
• Hands-on full stack development with design, test, and deployment responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain platform products and shared services.
• Build frontend experiences for internal platform applications and admin consoles.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and automation components for shared capabilities.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and tooling.
• Champion testing practices and improve developer experience across the platform.
• Support observability, monitoring, logging, and incident resolution across the full stack.
