Plant Technician - Wastewater

Job summary

SUEZ is seeking Plant Technicians to join our Water Recycling Plant teams at two Victorian sites, Boneo and Gisborne. You will perform hands-on maintenance, process work and operate within a safety‑driven team focused on reliability and compliance.

You will report to the Plant Lead Technician and help keep plants running efficiently, with opportunities for training and career development in a global water leader. A current driver’s licence and hands-on problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Year 12 and a current driver’s licence.
• Hands-on problem solving with strong communication skills.
• Mechanical, Electrical or E&I trade (desirable).
• Cert III in Wastewater Treatment and PLC/DCS exposure (desirable).
• Confined space, First Aid and forklift tickets (a plus, and we’ll train you).

Responsibilities

• Scheduled and breakdown maintenance through CMMS.
• Process sampling and lab testing on site.
• Chemical systems operation and stock management.
• Instrument calibration.
• Contractor isolations and Work Clearances.
