Job summary

Veolia ANZ in Fairfield 2165 is seeking an experienced Plant Operator/Technician to join our team and ensure the effective operation and maintenance of the Recycled Water Treatment Scheme. You will work to meet quality, reliability and safety targets across the plant.

You'll monitor operations, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support whs and environmental requirements while contributing to environmental outcomes and a sustainable circular economy.

Qualifications

• Electrical and general maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain recycled water treatment plant to meet contractual KPIs.
• Monitor plant operations via SCADA systems and respond to alarms.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment overhauls.
• Participate in on call roster and after hours plant monitoring.
• Maintain accurate records using CMMS and business systems.
• Supervise contractors and manage work permits; ensure compliance with WHS and environmental requirements.
• Conduct sample collection and laboratory analysis.
