Job summary

Fetch Recruitment is recruiting multiple Plant Operators for a leading earthworks contractor in Ipswich. Immediate start with 10-hour days, 5/6 days per week, ongoing work with temp-to-perm review at 3 and 6 months.

You will operate GPS-enabled equipment ( excavator, dozer, grader, roller, loader, skid) and assist with bulk earthworks, trenching, and site preparation. On-site travel and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Civil/Construction experience required.
• White Card mandatory for site work.
• GPS experience preferred but not essential.
• License and own transport recommended for reach to sites.

Responsibilities

• Bulk earthworks, final trim, trenching, batter, boxing roads.
• Civil labouring duties, pit & pipe, conduits, site prep/clean.
• Assist trades on site and operate 15t-50t machines.
• Hours typically 6am–5pm, 5/6 days per week.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES

• Duties include: Bulk earthworks, final trim, trenching, batter, boxing roads OR Civil labouring duties, pit & pipe, conduits, site prep/ clean, assisting trades
• GPS experience is preferred but not essential
• Machines vary, 15t-50t
• Hours vary from 6am - 5pm 5/6 days per week

EXPERIENCE REQURED

• Any Civil/Construction experience
• Preferedexperience operatingmachines with GPS Topcon, Trimble or UTS system
• License + Own Transport - Some of our projects are hard to reach so we require you to have reliable transport to get to site

This is a TEMP TO PERM opportunity (reviewed at 3 and 6 months), increasing pay rates once set milestones are achieved. This is an ongoing position where you will be working 10 hour days, 5/6 days per week.
