Central Coast Council is seeking a skilled Plant Operator to operate and maintain heavy plant at the Woy Woy Waste Management Facility, ensuring precision in grading, final trim and efficient use of space. You will work safely under EPA and WHS guidelines and support public-facing services at the site.

The role offers a permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week, and a 9-day fortnight, with progression opportunities and competitive salary. Applications close 22 November 2026.

Qualifications

• HR/MR licence required with upgrade commitment
• Construction General Induction Card (Safework NSW) or equivalent
• Competency attestations for excavator/loader and related plant; willingness to obtain more as required

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain heavy plant (landfill compactors, loaders, excavators).
• Set levels, perform final trim and cell wall construction; optimise landfill air space.
• Complete daily plant inspections and assist public at facility; comply with safety policies.

Formation

Heavy Rigid (HR) or Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's Licence

Construction General Induction Card - Safework NSW

Statement of Attainment or Verification of Competency for Excavator/Loader/Articulated Loader
