Job summary

Boral operates the Wellcamp near Toowoomba Quarry and seeks a dedicated Plant Operator for permanent, full-time work. You will operate mobile and fixed plant equipment safely, including dumps, front-end loaders and the crushing plant, at our Wellcamp site.

You will contribute to basic maintenance and housekeeping, participate in problem solving and safety initiatives, and work Monday to Saturday with mentoring from industry leaders. We value safety, teamwork and accountability in all duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile plant operation.
• HR truck licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Quarry experience highly regarded but not essential.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

Boral has a permanent, full-time opportunity for a dedicated Plant Operator to become an integral part of our dynamic and dedicated team. You will undertake responsibility for ensuring the secure and proficient operation of our quarry's mobile and fixed plant equipment located at our Wellcamp near Toowoomba Quarry.

Your day will involve:

• Safe operation of Dump Haul truck, Front-end loader and other quarry mobile plant as required
• Safe operation of the crushing plant
• Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping
• Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting

What are we looking for?

• Experience in mobile plant operation (Front End loader desirable but not essential)
