Job summary

Boral Limited is seeking motivated Plant Operators for the Petrie Quarry in Brisbane for a permanent, full-time role with an afternoon shift starting at 9.30am. You will safely operate both mobile and fixed plant equipment and contribute to maintenance and housekeeping to keep the quarry running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile plant operation; Front End loader desirable but not essential
• HR truck licence advantageous but not essential
• Quarry experience highly regarded but not essential
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of Dump Haul truck, Front-end loader and other quarry mobile plant as required
• Safe operation of the crushing plant
• Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping
• Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting

Boral is seeking motivated Plant Operators to join our team at the Petrie Quarry in a permanent, full-time role. If you're looking for stable employment and a work schedule that gives you more time in the morning, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Become an integral part of our dynamic and dedicated Quarries team. Working the afternoon shift (9.30am start), you will undertake responsibility for ensuring the secure and proficient operation of our quarry's mobile and fixed plant equipment located at our Petrie, Brisbane Quarry.

Shift Hours

Monday to Friday - 9.30am - 6:30pm, with Saturday work available

Whether it's school drop-offs, appointments, gym sessions or simply avoiding the early morning rush, this roster offers a lifestyle that's hard to find in quarrying.

Your day will involve:

• Safe operation of Dump Haul truck, Front-end loader and other quarry mobile plant as required
• Safe operation of the crushing plant
• Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping

What are we looking for?
