Job summary

Boral Limited in Wellcamp near Toowoomba is seeking a Plant Operator for a permanent full-time role operating quarry mobile and fixed plant equipment. You will ensure safe operation of dump trucks, loaders, and the crushing plant, with emphasis on quality and housekeeping.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, participate in safety initiatives, and work as part of a team with supervision as needed. Ongoing mentoring and a stable, permanent position are offered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile plant operation; Front End loader desirable but not essential
• HR truck licence advantageous but not essential
• Quarry experience highly regarded but not essential
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of Dump Haul truck, Front-end loader and other quarry mobile plant as required
• Safe operation of the crushing plant
• Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping
• Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting
