Lachlan Shire Council is recruiting Casual Plant Operators to support our Condobolin Depot and projects across the shire. You will join a team delivering a range of tasks from labouring to plant operation, including tractors and rollers.

The role offers casual loading, a Grade 4 classification, and conditions aligned with the Local Government Award. Applicants with a MR licence, White Card, and good teamwork will thrive.

Qualificações

• Licence: Medium Rigid (or willing to obtain within 3 months).
• Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
• Good communication skills.
• Previous work related experience (or willingness to learn).
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team while showing initiative.

Lachlan Shire Council are looking for Casual Plant Operators!

These casual positions are based from our Condobolin Depot, but work across our entire shire carrying out a wide variety of duties from labouring to plant operation, typically the operation of tractors and rollers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Medium Rigid Licence (or willing to obtain within 3 months)
• Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
• Good Communication Skills
• Previous work related experience (or the willingness to learn)
• Basic reading and writing skills
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

What We Offer

Salary and Conditions

• Salary range: $36.76 to $39.51 per hour (inclusive of 25% Casual Loading)
• Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
• Position classified at Grade 4 within Council's Salary Structure.
• Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
