Job summary

Yule Strategic is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our production team in Queensland. The role focuses on safe operation of mobile plant with emphasis on excavator and stockpile management, while Loader experience is advantageous.

You will contribute to smooth production flow, maintain clean work areas, and support day-to-day production activities on site. We value safety, proactive work ethic, and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven excavator and stockpile management experience.
• Safety-focused with ability to work around heavy equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Good communication and reliability.
• Front End Loader experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Plan tasks and conduct risk assessments for identified activities.
• Operate plant and equipment safely, including front end loaders where required.
• Maintain stockpiles in a safe, clean, and compliant manner.
• Perform manual tasks, including accessing plant via stairs.
• Safely load and unload product onto bulk trucks.
• Liaise professionally with truck drivers on site.
• Keep all work areas clean and hazard-free.
• Maintain awareness of mobile plant limitations and stock handling risks.
• Support other production activities as required.

About the Role
