Job summary

Tree Care Machinery Pty Ltd seeks a goal-oriented Plant Mechanic for our Blacktown NSW workshop. You will diagnose, service and repair hydraulic and electrical systems on light and heavy equipment, with focus on woodchippers and stump grinders.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified diesel fitter/plant mechanic or light vehicle mechanic
• Hydraulic & electrical knowledge advantageous
• Able to work unsupervised and self-motivated
• Commitment to safe work practices
• Current driver’s licence is required
• Welding experience advantageous but not essential
• Forklift licence advantageous

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair hydraulic and electrical systems on light and/or heavy equipment, focusing on woodchippers and stump grinders
• Perform workshop-based maintenance and repairs at Blacktown NSW branch
• Provide premium levels of service and support to clients

PLANTMECHANIC- WORKSHOP BASED

We are looking for a goal-orientated, ambitiousand well cultured Plant Mechanic to join our Blacktown NSW branch.

Applicants will need to have experience with the diagnosing, servicing and repairing of hydraulic and electrical systems on light / heavy vehicle and/or plant equipment, focusing on woodchippers and stump grinders.

Job Specifications

The successful applicant -

• Is a trade qualified diesel fitter/mechanical fitter/light vehicle mechanic
• Hydraulic & electrical knowledge an advantage
• Is self-motivated & able to work unsupervised
• Has a desire to provide premium levels of service & support and is solution driven
• Has a strong commitment towards safe work practices
• Forklift licence an advantage
• Has basic tools and a current drivers licence
• Welding experience and advantage but not essential
