Job summary

Viridian Glass Pty Ltd in Sydney's NSW region is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance and engineering function at our Ingleburn manufacturing site. You will drive plant reliability, preventative maintenance and downtime reduction while partnering with Production, Quality and Operational Excellence.

You will oversee engineering and capital projects, manage contractors and budgets, and develop your team to lift safety, performance and manufacturing outcomes on the

Qualifications

• Significant maintenance or engineering leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading a maintenance, engineering or technical team.
• Relevant engineering, trade or technical qualification.
• Strong knowledge of plant, machinery and preventive maintenance.
• Experience delivering capital projects.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or CI methodologies.
• Strong safety leadership and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support the maintenance and engineering team.
• Improve plant reliability and minimise unplanned downtime.
• Develop and drive preventative maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and plant performance issues.
• Lead continuous improvement across machinery and maintenance practices.
• Plan and deliver engineering and capital projects.
• Manage contractors, budgets and engineering resources.
• Maintain strong safety and WHSE standards.
• Use maintenance data and MEX to drive performance and improvement.
