Job summary

Visy in Sydney’s Warwick Farm facility seeks an experienced Maintenance Leader to oversee Mechanical and Electrical Supervisors and a Maintenance Planner, ensuring asset reliability and safe, efficient production.

You will drive preventative maintenance, coach teams, manage budgets and collaborate with Operations to reduce downtime while delivering sustainable engineering improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical or electrical maintenance experience with hands-on leadership.
• Relevant engineering or trade qualifications.
• Experience delivering preventative maintenance and reliability improvements.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and contractor performance.
• Excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within corrugated packaging, FMCG or similar manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance function with a hands-on leadership style.
• Deliver preventative maintenance programs to maximise asset reliability.
• Partner with Operations to reduce downtime and optimise plant performance.
• Coach and develop Supervisors.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement improvements.
• Manage maintenance budgets, contractors and spare parts.
• Maintain high safety, compliance and housekeeping standards.
