Job summary

CPB Contractors is seeking an experienced Planning and Controls Manager to oversee project planning, scheduling, and performance for major civil and infrastructure works in Perth. You will lead the planning team, ensure schedules reflect as-built data, and interface with construction and tender teams to optimise value and delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of Primavera P6, and expertise in 4D planning, BIM, and earned value management.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading planning and controls on large civil construction projects (Tier 1/2).
Strong systems focus with Primavera software proficiency.
Ability to develop and manage complex programmes with collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee planning, scheduling and performance across major construction projects.
Develop and maintain project schedules with actuals and as-builts.
Drive planning excellence and risk/opportunity identification.
Coordinate with construction and tender teams to meet budget and timeline objectives.
Lead a professional planning team to high performance and continuous improvement.
