Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance activities across the Byerwen Mine Project, ensuring safe, efficient scheduling to maximise fleet availability. You will work with supervisors, tradespeople and operational stakeholders to develop maintenance plans and adjust daily schedules as priorities change.

Ideally you bring prior experience as a Maintenance Planner in mining, strong CMMS knowledge (SAP/Pronto), and excellent organisation and communication skills to thrive

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Planner in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling systems such as SAP, Pronto or CMMS platforms.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short- and long-term maintenance plans to support fleet availability and reliability.
• Schedule maintenance activities, labour and resources in line with operational requirements.
• Monitor maintenance execution and adjust schedules to accommodate changing priorities and breakdowns.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to optimise equipment downtime and productivity.
• Promote safe work practices and contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

About the Role

You'll plan and coordinate maintenance activities across our Byerwen Mine Project, ensuring work is scheduled safely and efficiently to maximise fleet availability and reliability. Working closely with supervisors, tradespeople and operational stakeholders, you'll develop maintenance plans, manage schedules and make daily adjustments to respond to changing operational priorities. You'll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner role within a mining, heavy industry or mobile equipment environment.
• Demonstrated experience with maintenance planning and scheduling systems such as SAP, Pronto or similar CMMS platforms.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyse maintenance requirements, prioritise competing demands and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
