Redpath Partners in Sydney is seeking an experienced Programmer / Senior Planner to own master programmes across major developments, integrating construction, design, approvals, sales and marketing for an integrated programme.

You will work closely with senior leadership to establish milestones, dependencies, critical paths and interfaces, with a strong focus on delivering monthly programme reporting and clear ownership of milestones across streams.

• Strong technical understanding of programming, planning and scheduling mechanics.
• Experience developing and managing complex master programmes across developments.
• Experience with construction, property, infrastructure or project controls is advantageous.

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Programmer / Senior Planner to join a major Sydney property group in a role that extends well beyond traditional construction programming.

Working closely with senior leadership, this person will take ownership of developing and maintaining master programmes across all major projects, bringing together construction, design, development, approvals, sales and marketing into an integrated programme.

The key requirement is a strong technical understanding of the mechanics of programming. You don't need to have worked across the entire development lifecycle previously — candidates coming from a construction, infrastructure, engineering or project controls background will be considered, however Build sector experience is highly regarded.

The Role

• Develop and maintain detailed master programmes across multiple major developments
• Establish key milestones, dependencies, critical paths and interfaces across project workstreams
• Integrate construction programmes with development, design, approvals, sales and marketing activities
• Establish clear ownership and accountability against programme milestones
• Produce meaningful monthly programme reporting for senior leadership
• Work collaboratively across multiple internal departments and project teams
• Identify programme risks, delays and dependencies early
• Help establish a consistent approach to programming and reporting across the business

About You

• Strong technical understanding of programming, planning and scheduling mechanics
• Background could include construction, property, infrastructure, engineering or project controls
• Experience developing and managing complex master programmes
• Strong understanding of sequencing, dependencies, critical path and programme risk
• Experience with recognised programming platforms such as Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborative style with the ability to bring multiple departments together
• Mandarin language capability would be advantageous, but is not essential

This is an opportunity for someone who has developed strong technical programming capability and wants to broaden beyond construction delivery into the complete development lifecycle.

You will have exposure to senior decision-makers and play a key role in establishing how some of Sydney's major future developments are planned, monitored and delivered.
