Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is partnering with a major global E&M contractor to appoint a Senior Site Planner for a flagship power generation project in Regional NSW. You will own the detailed construction schedule and align planning across electrical and mechanical scopes.

This permanent role requires advanced Primavera P6 expertise and 10+ years in project planning on large infrastructure works. A competitive salary, 25% site uplift and annual super are on offer, with long-term project

• 10+ years of experience in project planning/scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the detailed site baseline schedule in Primavera P6.
• Manage scheduling across electrical and mechanical installation scope.
• Maintain alignment between site, master, and actual progress.
• Monitor critical path, milestones and interfaces.
• Identify schedule deviations and develop mitigation/recovery plans.
• Analyse acceleration opportunities to protect milestones.
• Incorporate subcontractor schedules and assess progress.
• Deliver rolling look-ahead planning with the site team.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, risks and milestones.

Design & Build has partnered with a major global E&M contractor delivering one of Australia's largest power generation projects, and we are recruiting a Senior Site Planner to take ownership of the detailed construction and installation schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the detailed site baseline schedule in Primavera P6
• Manage scheduling across the complete electrical and mechanical installation scope
• Maintain alignment between the site schedule, master schedule and actual construction progress
• Monitor critical path, milestones and project interfaces
• Identify schedule deviations and develop mitigation and recovery plans
• Analyse acceleration opportunities to protect key construction and commissioning milestones
• Incorporate subcontractor schedules and assess progress against planDeliver rolling look-ahead planning with the site team
• Provide clear reporting on progress, risks and upcoming milestones

Minimum Experience

• Advanced Primavera P6 experience is essential
• 10+ years' experience in project planning / scheduling
• Experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path and schedule recovery
• Experience across energy, power generation, resources, oil & gas or similar complex projects
