A leading construction firm in Adelaide seeks a proficient Planner responsible for developing detailed Tender and Construction Programmes. Job description

About the Role

An exciting opportunity for a Planner to join our team and be responsible for:

  • Translate and develop available construction drawings and documentation into highly detailed Tender and Construction Programmes using planning software - e.g. Primavera P6 (BE Default) or MS Project (As required/ Specified by the Client).
  • Fill out a Project Planning Template - This consists of an overview of the project, a methodology, what information was available at the time of tender, and other project specific information.
  • Repair tender programs in Primavera format - consisting of key milestones, durations of total project, relationships between activities & trades and contingencies.
  • Audit of current Construction Project Programmes to ensure compliance with Group Procedures
  • Tracking progress against baseline schedule reviewing as‑built v As‑Planned status
  • Preparation and Submission of Delay Claims utilising the most appropriate delay analysis method.
  • Collaboration with project teams to gather project data and validation of timelines
  • Liaise with Subcontractors to ensure schedule adherence
  • Support project meetings with programme information
  • Analyse and collate historical data to improve future planning accuracy.
About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant Commercial Construction experience in planning and/or project management
  • Specialised knowledge of project scheduling and program logic networking
  • Detailed / Technical Construction knowledge sufficient to interpret and translate construction drawings and develop considered/ appropriate sequencing of works.
  • A thorough knowledge of Primavera 6 or another planning and scheduling software package
