Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Student Placement Systems Specialist - Configuration & Support to maintain and improve enterprise systems for the Experience Pillar and Employability theme. The role focuses on system support, service desk coordination, configuration, data, reporting and compliance.

You will act as SME for InPlace and coordinate with UNSW IT and vendors. This 18‑month fixed‑term hybrid role is based at Kensington campus. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise systems, including configuration and user support.
• Ability to analyse and resolve system issues with judgement within established frameworks.
• Experience coordinating service desk activities and managing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service desk operations, triage and assign issues, resolve where possible.
• Provide SME support for Employability systems and best practices.
• Undertake system configuration activities and translate requirements into solutions.
• Perform data migration and monitor data accuracy for reporting obligations.
• Develop reports and manipulate data to support business and compliance reporting.
