Job summary

Kapiris Land Pizza in Salisbury, SA, is seeking a dedicated cook to join our busy kitchen team. You will prepare, cook and present pizzas, pasta, mains, sauces and sides for dine-in, takeaway, delivery and catering, ensuring high standards and consistent quality.

Our team values food safety, teamwork and the ability to work under pressure. The role requires a Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) and at least two years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen, with availability for

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a busy commercial kitchen.
• Experience preparing pizzas, pasta, sauces and other restaurant dishes.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and stock-rotation requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure with consistent quality.
• Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
• Evenings, weekends and public holidays availability.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting pizzas, pasta dishes, mains, sauces and other menu items.
• Preparing pizza dough, sauces, meat, vegetables and other ingredients for daily service.
• Monitoring the quality and freshness of ingredients and finished dishes.
• Ensuring meals are prepared according to established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Planning and coordinating food preparation to meet dine-in, takeaway, delivery and catering demand.
• Coordinating with other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Training and supporting junior kitchen employees.
• Accommodating dietary requirements and customer allergy notifications.
