Pizza Pasta Co. (DANNOUN GROUP PTY LTD) is a renowned restaurant delivering Italian dishes seven days a week. We seek a full-time Chef to lead kitchen operations, collaborate on menu planning, and ensure high-quality meals in a supportive team environment.

The role requires planning and directing food prep, supervising cooks, maintaining stock, and enforcing health and safety regulations. Salary ranges from 70k–90k plus super for a permanent full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct food preparation, cooking and presentation in the kitchen.
• Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at line stations.
• Manage and supervise cooks for provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
• Work with Managers to plan menus that are flavorful and popular with customers.
• Season and cook food according to recipes and experience.
• Monitor and ensure food quality, quantity, taste and presentation.
• Ensure food meets exceptional standards for quality and quantity.
• Assist with recruitment, training, mentoring and supervision of cooks and kitchen staff.
• Demonstrate cooking methods and practices.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness and kitchen maintenance.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
