Labour Support Group – East Victoria Park WA is seeking an experienced Cook for Sinatra’s Pizza & Pasta in East Victoria Park. This full-time, permanent role offers an annual salary of $80,000 to $82,000 plus superannuation.

Duties include preparing and cooking pasta and pizzas, following standard recipes, maintaining quality and portion control, monitoring temperatures, and ensuring food safety, hygiene and team collaboration in a fast-paced kitchen.

Formación

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Minimum 12 months of experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen.
• 12 months’ experience preparing pizzas and pastas.
• Experience cooking with a wood-fired oven/open fire.
• Experience preparing pizza dough from scratch and sauces.
• Ability to work with proteins like pork, beef and seafood.
• Knowledge of food safety and safe work practices.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals following standard recipes and kitchen procedures.
• Present dishes attractively while maintaining consistency, taste and portions.
• Assist with food preparation and service activities under supervision.
• Monitor food quality and ensure meals are served at correct temperatures.
• Follow daily menus, production schedules and portion requirements.
• Check and record food temperatures to ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and areas.
• Support stock rotation and inventory handling procedures.
